Rock Resident Website Design & Development

Design and development of a micro-website for Rock Residente, a local rock band competition. Despite its compact scope, this project was pioneering in its feature set — it was among the first websites on the internet to combine music streaming with social interaction features including comment systems, friendship requests between users, and community engagement tools. Built with Macromedia Flash, HTML, PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript, the platform delivered a complete social music experience years before streaming and social music platforms became mainstream. This project demonstrated an early vision for combining media consumption with social connectivity, anticipating paradigms that would later define platforms in the music and entertainment industry.
