Basilón V2 Website Design & Development

Following the massive success of the first Basilón website, the second version was developed as a more modern and feature-rich platform, also built entirely with Macromedia Flash. A standout innovation of this iteration was the implementation of zoomable vector maps for displaying venue locations — one of the first websites on the internet to use interactive, scalable map interfaces for geographic navigation. This early adoption of vector-based mapping technology predated mainstream web mapping solutions and demonstrated advanced capabilities in Flash-based geospatial visualization, interactive UI design, and creative problem-solving for location-based user experiences in the early 2000s.
