Basilón V1 Website Design & Development

One of the earliest commercial websites ever developed in this portfolio, the first version of the Basilón nightclub website was built entirely with Macromedia Flash 5 (now Adobe Animate). Beyond its significance as a foundational project, this website was among the first platforms on the internet to implement photo tagging functionality — allowing users to identify and tag people in uploaded photographs, a feature that would later become a defining characteristic of major social networks. This pioneering implementation of social interaction patterns within a nightlife website demonstrated forward-thinking product design and an intuitive understanding of user engagement mechanics years before they became mainstream.
